Mrs. Schaeffer has lived her whole life
in the Chicago area. She received her undergraduate degree from UIC,
her MBA degree from Loyola, and after changing careers, her Masters in
Teaching, Early Childhood from Concordia University. She has taught
preschool and first grade but really enjoys teaching preschool children
most. "I love reading and it's great to install that enthusiasm in
children when they are young!" she says. She currently lives in Oak
Park and her two children, John and Noah, are both in college.
