Development

Saint Ann’s development program brings together parents, volunteers, friends, and Chicago’s business community to foster the financial vitality of the school. Our development efforts seek to create long-term relationships with friends committed to the growth and prosperity of the school. The development office organizes and manages special events and appeals to provide financial support for scholarship assistance and educational programs.

We are grateful for all of our generous supporters!

Hand In Hand Appeal

“I don’t know what the future holds, but I know who holds the future.”
Ralph Abernathy

At Saint Ann School we believe that the children we serve hold the future in their hands and that recognize that providing them an exceptional faith-based education for is an investment in the future. After only two years, our preschool is at capacity and has a waitlist of 24 students. The goal of Hand in Hand is to expand our current preschool program to include a second classroom, opening our doors to over twenty new preschoolers next year. With your help we can both increase school enrollment and meet an urgent need for preschool education in the community. If you would like to invest in a new preschool for Saint Ann please contact Frankie Beecroft or send a check made payable to Saint Ann School attention Hand in Hand.

Saint Ann Golf Classic 2009

The Saint Ann Golf Classic brings together members and friends of the parish-school community to build community and support advancement efforts. This past September, over 60 golfers participated in the 2008 outing. The event was a huge success and include 18 holes of golf, several hole contests, and silent auction and dinner. The 2009 Saint Ann Golf Classic will be played at Cog Hill Golf and Country Club on Tuesday, June 9th.

For more information about registration, hole sponsorship, and donating to the silent auction please contact Frankie Beecroft.

Reventón 2009

Over 600 students, families, teachers, parishioners, neighbors, friends, and donors gathered at Saint Ann for our 3rd Annual Reventón Mass and reception. Each year at Reventón, we come together to celebrate our rich heritage and to renew our shared commitment to a hope-filled future for our students. Guests enjoyed cuisine from Nuevo Leon Restaurant, performances by mariachis, folklorico dancers, and a polka band, and school tours led by our junior high students. Local artists captivated the kids with face painting and crafts while adults took their chances on raffle prizes.

We are currently looking for individuals and businesses to help underwrite the costs of the food, beverage, and entertainment as well as to donate items for the raffle this year. Please contact Frankie Beecroft for more information.
