Parents Who Care Organization
For years, the school's Parents Who Care Organization has worked to
building up the greater community of Saint Ann Catholic School. By
organizing events and fundraisers, the PWC has helped raise money and
strengthen relationships. The funds raised help offset costs associated
with school field trips such as transportation and entrance fees.
Saint Ann Talent Show The PWC potluck dinner and talent show on Friday, January 31 was a
huge success. Students and parents wowed the crowd with their singing,
dancing, and theatrical performances. There were over one hundred
guests in attendance and plenty of food and fun to be had by all. A
panel of judges including Fr. Felipe, Ms. Beecroft, Ms. Julia, Ms. Kish,
and Mrs. Blanco had the difficult task of selecting winners from all of
the incredibly talented acts…and the winners are:
• 1st Place: 2nd grader Oscar Cabrera – Break dance
• 2nd Place: 8th grader Arturo Hildago – Drums
• 3rd Place: 3rd grader Isabell Cortez and mom – Duet song and
dance Breakfast with Santa On Sunday, December 14, the Saint Ann PWC Organization hosted its
annual Breakfast with Santa. We had a wonderful turnout with many
parish families enjoying a warm and tasty pancake breakfast. In
addition, there was an arts and crafts table, a White Elephant Sale,
raffles, cupcake decorating, and pictures with our very special guest,
Santa Claus! The highlight of the day was a performance by The Little
Elves with their entertaining song and dance routine. |
