About Mrs. Aryee
This is Mrs. Aryee’s ninth year teaching at St. Ann School. She graduated from Bradley University with a double major in Elementary Education and History and received her Master’s Degree from Concordia University in Curriculum and Instruction. She has two daughters and lives in the Western suburbs of Chicago. She enjoys spending time with her family and taking trips to the Brookfield Zoo.
Our teacher is Mrs. Aryee and we have a classroom aide, Mrs DeLeon, that is always helping us in the classroom. Our school days are very busy learning new things. We will learn rainbow words, which are words that we can read very quickly just by looking at them. We are also starting to sound out words and read them. In Math, we will learn our numbers, making patterns, and counting money. Every month in Reading we will learn a new reading strategy: asking questions, predicting, etc. Our class enjoys listening to books, playing Reading games on the computer and having centers.
