Ms. Poynton is excited to be joining the St. Ann's community to teach First Grade! She grew up in the southwest suburbs of Chicago, earned her B.A. from Marian University in Indianapolis, and has been living in the city for the past 3 years. She is currently working towards her M.A. in Elementary Education through Loyola University. Ms. Poynton loves to travel, learn about and meet people from different cultures, and has been to 6 different countries, including living in Brazil for 16 months.
